Seaside Vista

The starting location of the game. If you go through the paved road next to it, you can get to Selene Town.

It consists of a large house owned by the protagonist's Father. If you kick a truck on the paved road, you can find a Ditto.

Selene Town

The first town for Pokemon Empyrean. It is connected to Route 100 to the north and the Seaside Vista to the east.

It consists of multiple levels of land littered with houses that have bridges connecting them. If you go northwest, a useful hint is located.

Although the player may find a Pokemon Center there (which will not be useful since the protagonist does not have any pokemon yet), it does not have a Pokemart or PokeBazaar.

Mera Town

The town where the protagonist may obtain their Starter Pokemon. It is connected to Route 100 to the South and Route 101 to the West

It consists of a large Laboratory that the player must climb a hill to reach, where they will be offered a starter.

To the Northwest it also features the first Shady Man, who is willing to Trade an Omuran Machop for a Ralts.

Right below that is an officer that gives away free pokeballs.

To the East of the town is a house with an old lady within, who is willing to hint the location of a free item after a short dialogue.

Calistern Town

A town located to the South of Route 101.

It features the First Gym of the game, whose Gym Leader specializes In Rock- and Normal- Type pokemon (Which results in a fighting-type pokemon being preferable, whilst grass- or water- types are still good alternatives)

It also features the first Tournament Arena, which also the protagonist to fight under special conditions for multiple rewards.

Other houses with random NPCs that gift various items upon dialogue may also be found

Shawmonk Town

A heavily forest-themed Town. It is located East of Route 102.

The Pokemon Center is available right as the protagonist enters the town, with the PokeMart to the East of it, and a Bazaar farther above the Center. To the left of the Bazaar the Pokemon Breeder may also be found. There are also Items and NPCs around that explain breeding mechanics, along with the new Generational Power feature.

It features the Second Gym of the game, but whilst it is not located right within the Town, there is an area right to the North of the Town called Shawmonk Calm which does contain the Gym. It also features an endless road.

The Gym Leader, which specializes in Grass- and Bug- types (for which a Flying-type would be preferable, but for which Fire- and Ice- types may substitute) cannot be challenged until they are rescued from the Cave to the East of the Gym. The cave can be accessed not by walking to the end of the road, but by talking to the NPC standing next to a hole in the ground, and then jumping in said hole.

Dooriver City

A technologically advanced town located to the West of Route 102, and to the North of Shian Swamp

It has the special capability of healing your Pokemon upon entry of the city.

It consists of a large amount of Houses and NPCs that also grant items and even miniquests upon interaction

It also has a Department Store which offers an acceptable variety of items for that point in the game.

Dooriver City does not feature a proper Gym, but it does have a large Arena that the protagonist may also participate in Tournaments within. The Gym leader is challenged by participating in the main Tournament offered at that point and reaching it's end. Although the Tournament contestants use a random assortment of Pokemon, the Gym leader is focused on Dark- and Fire-Types.

Empral Town

A desolate desert City subjugated by Sygnal Co. , reached by advancing through the North of the River Overpass

The usual Pokemon Center and PokeMart are replaced by a small Sygnal Center that has inflated prices and a Healing fee. Buying anything from here is heavily advised against, and backtracking to Dooriver for healing and shopping is recommended instead.

This Town also doesn't feature a natural Gym. Instead the Gym leader is found working for Sygnal Co. in the Empral Factory west of the Town. They specialize in Electric- and Light- Types, with their Valkyreon and Eelektross being notably difficult.

A Snorlax is blocking Route 105 to the North of the Town and may only be challenged until the Factory and it's surrounding story have been completed.

A house to the East of the Town contains an NPC that is willing to spar with you for a fee. The fight is short, easy and offers a lot of XP, with a win meaning receiving most of the money back. It is recommended as preparation for the upcoming Gym Leader, which is considered quite difficult.

Sylen City

The largest City in the game, it features a lot of important locations like the Sylenpelt Hotel, Sylentia HQ, KP Tower, Research Center (which are heavily relevant in the story) and the important Sylen City Mall. IT, however, does not Feature a Gym in any form.

The Pokemon Center can be found directly North of Entry from Route 105, and the Sylentia HQ is found a short distance northwest of the pokemon Center.

The Sylenpelt Hotel is found a short distance Northeast of the Pokemon Center, and the Research Center is found right behind it.

The KP tower is found East of the Pokemon Center or Southeast of the Sylenpelt Hotel.

The Slums are found North of the KP Tower or East of the Sylenpelt Hotel. It features very dark themes and end game content but it is necessary to the story.

The Existence of the Sylen Underground should also be noted, which features wild pokemon, mainly Poison Types. A very important feature of it is the Auction, which allows the player to bid fairly large sums of money for exclusive pokemon. The Shady Man also gives away hints regarding the pokemon being auctioned.

Mesmer Town

A snowy Winter-themed Town that connects to the Legendary Mt. Mesmer. It doesn't feature that many houses or NPCs but is still very heavily story-oriented.

It also connects to Route 113 trough the northwest of the town, right next to the Temple

The Gym is located East of the entry of the of the Town. It features very difficult puzzles , also containing the first (and only) Double Battle gym. The Gym Leaders are both Ice-Type focused. The protagonist must choose one of their two rivals to fight along with. Spoiler: Choose your partner wisely, since the teammate will not only affect battle itself, but also their story will also be altered.

Naraku Village

A frightening isolated village filled with dark secrets that connects to Route 107 to the East and Naraku Forest to the West.

The traditional PokeMart is cut off, the seller moving in the Poke Center, right next to the Nurse. Another seller is an old lady above the Pokemon Center offering an assortment of cheap cookies that are surprisingly useful in a variety of situations.

Naraku Village also features the Shaman Shop. The name is a little confusing, as it is not a "shop" in the traditional sense. Its actual function is for the player to introduce codes obtained outside the game for in-game (usually obtained from Discord Server contests or giveaways from creators or affiliates).

The Naraku Gym is unique in many perspectives. First of all, it features no vice-captains or any form of pre-fight to the Gym Leader, the only notable entities here are training dummies with notes written on them. Second, and be warned that a spoiler is coming: the gym fight is not the real fight. You only fight a proxy of the Gym Leader's. After the fight is completed, you will be offered a badge with distorted text. This is only a sign of what is to come. The next sign is far more terrifying, and the interaction with the previously mentioned training dummies may only be done at one's own peril.

After leaving the Gym, the player will soon notice they have entered a distorted version of the village. They must explore around the village and find things in order to proceed into the Dark Lake, that will then go further into more distorted areas. The final area, and the location of the true Gym Leader's fight (that focuses on Ghost and Psychic types) is the Dark Tower, which features multiple levels of constant fights against ghost-types both wild and belonging to many Vice-captains. Once the player defeats the captain, the mood will lighten up as the player is set free back in the real world.

Cape Precipice

A small retreat for the higher class. It can only be reached trough the Cycling Highway, by taking the first Southern Turn when entering it.

It is an optional location that does not feature much besides a lot of NPCs willing to fight for worthwhile rewards.

Asutra City

A coast side City accessed through the Cycling Highway from the North or the Delta Overpass through the South.

The Gym leader is a version of a character already encountered, and although they claim to be Metal and Water type, their actual type coverage is far wider, utilizing even Fire types at one point in the fight. Once defeated, they will reward the player with the Boat

The city also offers an Ice Cream and Card shop right next to the Beach.

On B1 of the Asutra Research Center, there is are evolution stone and IV Candy vending machines but the IV candy vending machine has all candies but Speed.

To the North-East of the town, the protagonist may find the Asutra Museum, where they may revive the Pokemon Fossils they have received.

Factorial Town

One of the few locations of the Deshret Region presented within Empyrean, this abandoned location provides a surprisingly great challenge and relevance in the story. The player may only reach this place by progressing through the story in the first place.

Krystolny Town

A mining town mainly occupied by people from the Baltia Region, connected through the small Krystolny Forest in the North and the waterway Route 109 through the South.

This location only provides housing for workers hired to mine the valuable crystals from within the caves nearby. They also offer the player basic mining kits that allow them to dig out crystals and fossils from special spots in mines.

Roarin Plateau

A secluded location connected by Route 110 through the South.

Here, there is a Candy shop, which has the Speed Candy that wasn't in the vending machine in Asutra.

It features the Eighth and Final Gym available, which is focused on Dragon- and Flying-Types. This would mean that the Gym Leader is extremely vulnerable to Ice moves, but still be wary of their immense strength. Consider having an ability, move or even item that focuses eliminating or suppressing the enemy's item
